Privacy

Last updated 22 October 2026

Short version. Your information belongs to you. What you put into Duesday is kept in your Duesday account, so it’s there on every device you sign in on. It’s never sold and never used for advertising, and Duesday never asks for a bank login.

You can save a copy of everything, or delete your account, from inside the app at any time.

Duesday is made and run by War Room LLC.

What your account holds

Duesday never asks for Social Security numbers, bank passwords or payment card numbers. You don’t need a full account number to track a bill; the last four digits are enough. Please don’t put sensitive financial or identification details in notes or other free-text fields.

Where it’s kept

Who can see it

Other people can’t. The database only hands each account its own information, and that rule is enforced by the database itself, not just by the app.

I don’t look at it. To be straight with you: as the person who runs Duesday, I have administrator access to the database, the same as anyone who runs an online service. I use it only to keep Duesday running, to fix a problem you’ve asked me to fix, or if the law requires it.

Visit counts. This website and the web app count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics: which pages are opened, how fast they load, and roughly where from. It uses no cookies, doesn’t follow you to other sites, and never sees what you put into Duesday. The extension counts nothing.

Server logs. Supabase and Cloudflare, which hosts this website, keep ordinary server logs, like the address a request came from and when, for security. They expire on those services’ own schedules.

What else leaves your device

The weather, only if you switch it on. The town you type goes to Open-Meteo to become coordinates, and those coordinates go back to fetch a forecast. Duesday asks you to type a town instead of reading your location, so it only ever knows the middle of a town you named. Switch the weather off and the town and the forecast are deleted.

The search box. What you type goes to whichever search engine you already chose in your browser. It doesn’t pass through Duesday, it isn’t stored, and nobody takes a cut.

Shortcut icons. In the extension they come from your browser’s own collection, so nothing is fetched. In the web app, each icon is loaded from that site itself, the same file your browser asks for when you visit it.

What it doesn’t do

The extension asks Chrome for: storage, search, site icons, alarms and notifications for reminders, the side panel, and the three Open-Meteo addresses for the weather. Downloads is asked for only when you turn on the daily backup, and handed back when you turn it off.

Taking it with you, or deleting it

Some of it may stay for a limited time in the service providers’ encrypted backups and security logs, until those expire on their own schedules. It isn’t used for anything in the meantime.

A saved copy, and the daily one if you turn automatic backup on, is a plain file in your Downloads folder with everything in it. It’s yours, and stays private only as long as that folder does; deleting your account doesn’t reach it.

How long it’s kept, and your choices

Your information is kept while your account exists, and removed when you delete it. You can see and correct all of it in the app, take a copy of all of it with Save a copy, and delete it whenever you like.

For anything you can’t do in the app, like deleting an account you can no longer sign in to or asking what’s held about you, email [email protected] from the address on the account. You’ll get an answer within 30 days, usually much sooner, whatever privacy law does or doesn’t apply where you live.

Payments

When you subscribe to Duesday Business, payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. It collects your card or PayPal details, billing address and email on its own checkout, under its own privacy policy. Duesday never sees or stores your card number.

Lemon Squeezy tells us which account subscribed, your email, the plan, and its status and dates, so Business opens and closes at the right times. Those details are kept with your account, and deleting your account deletes them from Duesday. Lemon Squeezy keeps its own payment records as the law requires.

Children

Duesday isn’t meant for children under 13. If a child has made an account, email [email protected] and it will be deleted.

If this changes

This page is updated, with a new date, whenever Duesday’s privacy practices change. If there’s a significant change to what Duesday collects or how it’s used, account holders will be told by email before it takes effect.
